Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced the launch of the first fast electric charging stations developed by the “Paros Electro” company, affiliated with the Russian electric car industry complex “Technopolis Moscow.” The capacity of the new station is 342 kilowatts, and it is designed to provide fast charging for modern electric cars.

The station is distinguished by its ability to deliver electricity to five cars at the same time, with a charging speed of only 10 to 15 minutes, in addition to its compatibility with most electric models. It is also distinguished by its compact design, which occupies only one square meter.

Sobyanin indicated in a statement on the Russian messaging application “Max” that this step represents an important stage in the development of the environmentally friendly transportation sector, and enhances the electric charging infrastructure in the capital and neighboring regions, explaining that the first stations have already been installed on federal roads to facilitate charging cars while traveling outside the city.
