Disgruntled Woman’s ‘petty’ Revenge After Discovering Her Fiancé Cheated On Her With A Neighbour

uaetodaynews.com — Disgruntled woman’s ‘petty’ revenge after discovering her fiancé cheated on her with a neighbour
A woman who discovered her fiancé was cheating on her with their neighbour has confessed to a petty act of revenge she’s been carrying out for the past eight years – with the help of his sister along the way.
The revelation was shared in a recent episode of It’s A Girl Thing Podcast. hosted by best friends Lucie and Ebony, who regularly read aloud anonymous listener confessions – with a recent clip of the segment shared to their TikTok account.
‘I found out my fiancé had been having an affair with our neighbour for the past six months,’ Ebony said.
‘Two weeks before our wedding, his best man broke down and told me. We called off the wedding, and his family was absolutely furious.’
As Ebony continued reading aloud the listener’s story, what came next was a deliciously petty confession.
‘We’ve been broken up for eight years now, but I still give every creepy guy my ex’s phone number instead of mine,’ she said.
At this point, the hosts dissolved into laughter at the karmic act. But it didn’t stop there.
‘He’s changed his phone number twice since we’ve been broken up because he’s fed up with the calls and texts,’ Ebony continued reading.
‘But his sister has text me his new phone number each time.’

This further admission sent the hosts over the edge.
‘His sister hates him! Oh, my God!’ co-host Lucie declared amid cackles.
The revenge act only became more elaborate, with Ebony reading: ‘A couple of times (his sister has) even sent me a video of him losing his mind when he’s got a call, or a text from a guy looking for a hook-up.
‘And then she says, “Thank God for his sister for keeping the joy alive. Eight years down the line”.’
By this stage, both hosts were beside themselves in laughter, with Lucie summing up at the end: ‘I can’t. I cannot. Like you must hate your brother. His sister hates him!’
The TikTok clip captioned ‘safe to say his sister knows how to hold a grudge’, has earned over 30,000 likes and been shared over 6,000 times.
The comments section is alight with replies – mostly from women – praising the inspired and niggling revenge act.
‘I wish to be this level of petty,’ one shared.

‘This is too funny! My kinda petty!’ another agreed.
‘This is the best thing I’ve ever heard as a petty lover! Having the sister still in on it is everything,’ a third added.
The most-liked reply to the video singled out both the sister and best man for being ‘the real ones’. The podcast hosts agreed, replying: ‘They are legit saints’.
The sister’s actions in particular of supplying the changed phone number and making video recordings of the irate phone calls were described as the purest example of ‘girl code’.
‘The sister is a girl’s girl,’ was a common and repeated refrain among the replies.
Others clarified that they didn’t think that the sister necessarily hated her brother, but was simply embodying ‘the sisterhood’.
‘Not a matter of hating (her brother) but just giving him the karma he brought on himself,’ read one reply.
‘Oh no, his sister does not hate him. She hates his behaviour and rebels in sweet revenge,’ another wrote.
The best man similarly earned accolades from everyone – with one person crediting him for doing ‘the right thing for all of them’, even if it meant betraying his mate.
Comments on the confession story praised the best man for stepping up and telling the bride-to-be the truth about her future husband. But some replies felt he should have spoken up sooner (Picture: stock image)
However some responses suggested the best man should have stepped in sooner to deliver the bad news to the bride-to-be.
‘I wouldn’t praise the best man too much. The affair was going on for six months and he only broke down two weeks before the wedding,’ mused one reply.
But to this, one person replied: ‘Who cares how long he took! At least he actually had the decency to tell her in time to prevent her from making such a colossal mistake!’
One lone commenter did however feel that perhaps it was time for the woman to ‘move on’. He wrote: ‘While that is very funny, it’s also been eight years.’
However other similarly jilted cheating victims felt differently.
‘Wish I had thought of this,’ read one wistful reply.
‘I signed up my ex for emails from Jehovah’s Witnesses,’ confessed another scorned woman.
