Sweet-toothed foodies have expressed their delight at the news that M&S has brought back its 1.2kg tin of chocolates that rival Quality Street.

Chocolate lovers have described the £12 Big Mix tub as perfect for the festive season, and are thrilled with the assortment of decadent flavours.

Those who have already snapped up a tin have reported it is ‘full to the brim’ with a variety of chocolate-covered treats including caramel, creams and toffees.

Inside there are 10 different varieties including salted caramel, butterscotch eclair, caramel fudge, cream toffee and hazelnut in caramel.

There is also the biscuit in caramel, milk, strawberry and orange cremes, as well as coffee truffle, which customers are most excited about.

Those who want to try the tasty treats don’t need to commit to the 1.2kg tin, as there is also the 650g sharing box for £7.

Chocolate fans have shared their excitement online, with many giving rave reviews.

‘Bought them today and tried them, they are very nice,’ one woman said, and another wrote: ‘Bought some today and yes, the tin is full to the top heavy too’.

‘These look amazing for Christmas…”Old style” Quality Streets. All the nice flavours and a few different ones. M&S chocolate is really nice,’ a third replied.

‘Love the shiny wrappers! I’ll be getting these!’ one user typed.

‘And the flavours are all really good too. Not a single dud flavour in the mix,’ someone added.

Many were especially thrilled by the inclusion of the coffee truffle.

‘Finally, someone has a coffee cream,’ one commented.

‘Ooh, well, they score extra points for having a coffee creme in! I miss those out of Roses!’ someone chimed in.

Shoppers claim the M&S tin is a great alternative to Quality Street, Roses or Celebrations tubs, which have long been a Christmas staple across the UK.
