America Ferrera has left fans captivated after showing off her dramatic hair transformation on the cover of Vogue Mexico‘s October issue.
The Ugly Betty actress, 41, posed for the ‘very special’ shoot in El Paso, Texas, to tie in with her promotion of The Lost Bus.
For the cover, mom-of-two America ditched her typical tresses for an edgy and bold new style.
She posed fiercely with her hand on her hip as she stared directly down the camera lens, with part of her fringe falling across the right side of her face.
Exuding power and confidence, America also oozed chic in a black spaghetti dress which featured multi-colored leaf-esque detailing and jeweled embellishments.
In other shots, America continued to show off her fringe as she wore her dark locks in a tight bun which in turn also drew attention to her high cheekbones.
For the look, the Hollywood star was styled by Raul Guerrero and kitted out in designer clothes from the Michael Kors Collection, Prada, Brandon Maxwell, Max Mara, and more.
Stunned fans were impressed by her new look with some noting that her beauty has transformed with age.

Taking to Reddit, one raved: ‘Wow almost didn’t recognize her! Whoever came up with this shoot needs a raise! She looks so fresh and stunning!’
‘Honestly brilliant pictures – great styling and I love they leaned into more edgy looks,’ another praised.
A third added: ‘Wow she’s honestly stunning! Don’t you think she’s gotten more beautiful with age?’
‘Freakin’ STUNNING,’ another said, while a fifth deemed, ‘She is SERVING.’
A sixth begged to know: ‘How is everyone getting such perfect jawlines?! I doubt everyone is getting facelifts.’
‘If you lied and told me this was a distant cousin of Lisa Bonet trying to make it in Hollywood, I would have 100 percent believed it,’ said a seventh.
America’s Vogue appearance comes just days before her next project, The Lost Bus, is slated to premiere globally on Apple TV on October 3.
The Lost Bus, a survival drama film, follows a bus driver who is forced to navigate a bus carrying children and their teacher to safety through the 2018 Camp Fire, which to date is the deadliest and most destructive wildfire in Californian history.

America stars opposite Matthew McConaughey in The Lost Bus
Starring Matthew McConaughey as bus driver Kevin McKay, America plays Mary Ludwig, the school teacher.
‘What makes this film effective is that it’s a completely personal story, but it also portrays the reality of the causes of this tragedy,’ she told Vogue Mexico.
‘If you care about these characters, these children, this community, and you also care about their survival and their health, then you can’t separate the two.
‘You can’t have a human story and a political one; that’s a false dichotomy.’
